PROCESS WORK
In this assignment, we are asked to create a world or environment for one character. Below is my process work.

Rational
In this task, we are asked to create a world or environment for one character. I chose the mushroom spirit as my character because I initially wanted to create a forest environment, and I imagined my character as a creature of the forest. One day, I saw a can of mushrooms at home, which inspired me to make mushrooms my character. I wanted my character to have magical qualities, so I decided to make it a spirit. When I started my design, I referred to Pinterest for inspiration and ideas.
2.Environment
Sketches
I have designed three different environments, referring to Framed Ink.

Lastly, I chose the first sketch as the basis for my environment.

Backstory
The Mushroom Spirit dwells in an ancient and mysterious forest. As the elder of the mushroom tribe, he cares for the young mushrooms and protects every living creature in the woods. He possesses gentle yet powerful magic that can heal the wounded and restore life to the plants and animals around him. He often appears at night, wandering quietly under the moonlight. Fireflies dance beside him like tiny lanterns, lighting his path through the dark forest. His magic radiates warmth and serenity, maintaining the peace and balance of the woodland. Kind and courageous, he is deeply loved by all who live in the forest. With his frail yet ageless body, he continues to guard the forest’s harmony—until the very end of his existence.
SELF REFLECTION
When I first started designing the environment, I found it really challenging. I had to follow the layouts suggested in Framed Ink while also deciding what I wanted to design. After completing my design, I had to apply it in Adobe Illustrator, which was also difficult for me. I felt that there was a big gap between what I wanted and what I actually created, so I felt a little disappointed. However, it was okay because at least I made progress.
